Role Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for executing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for frontline and specialist roles within Taskus Malaysia. You will partner closely with hiring managers, recruitment operations, and shared service teams to drive candidate pipeline, ensure process excellence, and deliver a high-touch, positive hiring experience.

This role requires strong sourcing capability, stakeholder management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and scaling environment.
Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruitment
  • Manage the complete recruitment process-from requisition intake to onboarding handoff.
  • Source, screen, and shortlist candidates through multiple channels including job boards, referrals, social platforms, events, and partnerships.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments aligned with role requirements and cultural fit.
  • Manage candidate communication across all stages to ensure a high-quality experience.


Hiring Delivery & Stakeholder Partnership
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to clarify hiring needs and define selection criteria.
  • Provide market intelligence and pipeline forecasting for assigned roles.
  • Support volume hiring initiatives across customer operations, including job fairs, virtual events, university/college partnerships, and hiring campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Recruitment Marketing, Workforce Management, HR Operations) to ensure delivery timelines are met.


Data, Reporting & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate records within applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Track and report recruitment metrics (pipeline progress, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, show rates, etc.).
  • Ensure hiring practices comply with Malaysian labor laws, Taskus talent policies, and global standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in process, tools, and recruitment experience.
Qualifications

Required:
  • 2-3 years recruitment experience (preferably high-volume BPO or shared services)
  • Proven skills in candidate sourcing, interviewing, and assessment
  • Ability to manage multiple reqs and timelines simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with ATS systems and HR databases


Preferred:
  • Experience hiring for customer support, content moderation, or multilingual roles
  • Prior involvement in recruitment marketing or talent projects
  • Knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and BPO labor market trends
