Your primary responsibility will be to operate vehicles equipped with Autonomous Driving Systems
(ADS) and provide high-quality, real-world driving data and feedback. This information will directly
support the advancement of AV safety, usability, and performance in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely operate vehicles in various on-road test scenarios, adhering to strict safety protocols at
all times.
• Actively monitor the Autonomous Driving System (ADS) and take manual control in response
to system disengagements or potential hazards.
• Evaluate ADS behavior and provide structured, detailed feedback to engineering and R&D
teams.
• Document vehicle performance and environmental observations accurately during and after
each drive.
• Collaborate with safety, operations, and engineering teams to uphold quality and safety
standards.
• Support the collection and analysis of real-world driving data to improve system functionality
before public deployment.
About You
We are looking for individuals with strong situational awareness, a proactive mindset, and a passion for vehicle safety and technology.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
• Full, clean Japanese driver's license.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience, primarily within Japan.
• No at-fault insurance claims in the past 3 years.
• Strong communication skills in Japanese (English is a plus), with the ability to document and
report findings clearly.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Familiarity with digital devices and apps, including:
○ Navigating touchscreen devices
○ Typing, text selection, copy/paste
○ Adjusting settings (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, display/volume)
○ Troubleshooting common mobile issues (e.g., crashes, connectivity)
• Comfortable using office software such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
